Alachua County SHIP DPA — Information for Lenders & Realtors

If you work with homebuyers in Alachua County, I wanted to share information about the County's SHIP Down Payment Assistance Program.

Alachua County maintains a SHIP Certified Lender List. Lenders who want to participate can contact Alachua County Housing & Strategic Development to register for the next SHIP Lender Workshop. Completing the certification process allows eligible lenders/loan officers to be included on the County's certified lender list.

For Realtors, I have not found a separate publicly posted SHIP-approved Realtor list. If you are a Realtor working with SHIP-eligible buyers, I recommend contacting the County directly to ask about any Realtor participation, referral, or program requirements.

Sharing this information so local lenders and Realtors can connect with the County and better assist homebuyers who may qualify for SHIP assistance.
